Gorgeous May Practice Walks

This was truly a glorious weekend and my walking assistant and I took full advantage of the weather and bright sun. We were in the country this weekend for the first time in months and the roads beckoned. On Saturday, Dakota and I did a six mile practice walk to the end of the road and back. It was the perfect afternoon for walking on our road surrounded by trees leafing into green, spring wildflowers, a brilliant blue sky and warm sun. The miles flew by and I think we saw all of two cars the whole trip. Today, Sunday, we headed off in the other direction and had another six mile walk. This walk was along the country roads and there was more traffic but the same brilliant, new green leaves on the trees, jonquils and tulips still blooming in yards and that exquisite blue sky and warm sun.
